Job Title: Aircraft PainterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to work from drawings, sketches, pictures, or verbal specifications to prepare and paint aircraft, aircraft parts, and sub-assemblies. The role involves stripping paint from aircraft, preparing surfaces, and ensuring the application of paint is precise and professional.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint aircraft, aircraft parts, and sub-assemblies based on provided specifications.
- Strip paint from aircraft and related components.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, steaming, cleaning, and conversion coating.
- Cover all areas to protect from paint or stripper using appropriate materials.
- Set up and operate all shop equipment and tooling.
- Set up and use spray guns for proper paint application.
- Ensure work is conducted safely in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Accurately log all labor data into the computer system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete assigned tasks within set time limits.
Essential Skills- Experience in aircraft painting, specifically painting Level A surfaces on business aircraft.
- Proficiency with industrial spray guns and electrostatic painting techniques.
- Ability to set up and use spray guns effectively.
- Experience in paint preparation and aircraft maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Knowledge of electrostatic spray guns.
- Experience with paint preparation and aircraft maintenance.

Work Environment
Work in state-of-the-art climate-controlled hangars, ensuring comfort and safety. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available as business needs dictate.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
