Leads group work activities, provides work direction, coordinate and reviews the work of a group of employees. Monitors personnel needs, schedules and assigns work.

• Applies understanding of the business and how own team integrates with others to achieve departmental objectives


• Manages one or more generally homogeneous teams of professional employees; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and/or operational objectives


• Identifies and solves technical and operational problems; understands and recognizes broader impact across the department

• Provides instruction and teaching of employees.


• Provides technical guidance to team members, colleagues and/or customers.


• Monitors employee assignments to completion.


• Estimates staffing needs to accomplish work in the responsible area.


• Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty


• Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behavior, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, and encouragement to other employees and departments.


• Overtime and Travel is required.

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field preferred

Five (5) years’ experience

Sufficient software knowledge to technically interface with the groups employees.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
