Shipper – 6-Month Rolling Contract
Salary: 16.06 per hour (PAYE)

We are looking for a Shipper to join our Logistics Team at Safran Aerospace. This is a practical, hands-on role working in our busy dispatch departments, ensuring goods are prepared, packaged, and shipped correctly and on time.
This is a 6-month rolling contract position, worked on a shift basis with weekend work required – so flexibility is essential.
Your Day-to-Day
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing materials for shipment
• Create shipment paperwork through SAP, courier, and customer portals
• Work with couriers (phone, email, portals, and in-person) to arrange collections
• Check and verify all dispatch documents, materials, and quantities against requirements
• Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring drivers are approved and ID-checked
• Maintain shipping logs and records
• Support housekeeping and recycling initiatives, keeping work areas clean and safe
• Follow all safety and quality procedures when handling goods
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or shipping role preferred (training given)
• Computer literate (basic SAP knowledge an advantage)
• Reliable, with good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
• High attention to detail – right goods, right paperwork, every time
• Team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Good communication skills when dealing with colleagues and couriers
• Organised and able to manage time effectively
• Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends
