Job Description:
Core ResponsibilitiesSales Technical Support: Partner with Account Managers in client meetings to identify cybersecurity challenges, technical requirements, and business objectives.
Solution Analysis & Design: Translate customer needs into a viable technical solution architecture, leveraging the company’s portfolio of products and services.
Technical Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver high-impact presentations and product/service demonstrations to diverse audiences, ranging from technical users to C-Level executives.
Documentation Development: Collaborate on the creation of technical proposals, responses to RFPs/RFIs (Request for Proposal/Information), SOWs (Statements of Work), and design documentation.
Business Development & Prospecting: Participate in technical prospecting and lead qualification—either independently or alongside the sales team—to identify opportunities within strategic accounts.
Knowledge Transfer: Act as the liaison with the Post-Sales/Implementation teams to ensure a seamless project transition once the deal is closed.
1. Education and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical cybersecurity roles (e.g., consulting, architecture, or implementation).
Pre-Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a Technical Pre-Sales role within the IT or Cybersecurity sector.
Domain Knowledge: Deep and demonstrable knowledge of multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., EDR/XDR, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security, Zero Trust, etc.).
Certifications (Preferred): Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security&43;, or vendor-specific certifications from industry leaders).
2. Technical SkillsAbility to understand complex IT architectures and their inherent security challenges.
Proficiency in configuring and demonstrating cybersecurity solutions in laboratory or Proof of Concept (PoC) environments.
Experience in developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and estimating Professional Services hours/costs.
3. Communication and Strategic Consulting SkillsImpactful Communication & Storytelling: Ability to transform complex data and architectures into persuasive business narratives. Expert at &34;translating&34; technical jargon to facilitate decision-making for C-Level executives and non-technical audiences.
Stakeholder Management & Trusted Advisor: Proven ability to build strong relationships based on technical and business trust. Focus on positioning oneself as a Trusted Advisor for both engineering teams and budget holders.
Value-Based Consulting (Discovery): Mastery of active listening and deep diagnostic techniques to identify the client&39;s true &34;pain points,&34; aligning technical solutions with business objectives and Return on Investment (ROI).
High-Performance Team Synergy: Strategic collaboration with Account Executives to drive the sales cycle. Ability to integrate technical vision into the global account strategy through seamless alignment.
Objection Handling & Technical Negotiation: Agility in identifying, addressing, and neutralizing technical barriers during the sales process, turning doubts into opportunities for value and competitive differentiation.
