Job Description

This position involves a one-year contract with responsibilities focused on maintaining quality standards and compliance. The role requires working collaboratively with various departments to ensure supplier non-conformances are documented and addressed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Document supplier non-conformances in the Intelex database and follow up to ensure timely responses.
• Review and close supplier non-conformances by assessing root causes and corrective actions.
• Assist in creating certification packages, first articles, and configuration audits.
• Support the Quality Manager in approving supplier PPAPs.
• Maintain supplier status in the Supplier Master List by obtaining Quality System Certificates.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 by creating and revising quality documents.
• Perform root cause and corrective actions for delivery and technical errors using 8D and 5-why analysis.
• Develop and revise process flow charts and control plans, including training plant personnel.
• Support the Chief Inspector with compliance training and PFMEA reviews.
• Manage the audit process for quality and EHS areas, ensuring audits are completed as scheduled.
• Follow all plant safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and gages.
• Experience with blueprint reading and visual inspection techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and planning requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to delegate work and meet scheduled delivery dates.
• Ability to work independently in a high-stress environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, requiring business casual attire with a blue coat in the work area. The position operates Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm, with potential weekend work. Steel toe shoes are necessary, and the role involves lifting up to 50 pounds. Tools are provided, and candidates must pass a near vision eye test and color perception test. US citizenship or permanent residency is required.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
