Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform inspections on electronic assemblies and mechanical hardware to ensure compliance with quality standards and configuration documentation. You will identify non-conforming products, support defect reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while working with cross-functional teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector.
* Must be able to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
* Must have basic math and computer skills.
* Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
* Must have basic blueprint and wiring diagram reading skills.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills/Experience
* Must have the ability to read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, sketches, and test procedures for electrical and mechanical components.
* Must have the ability to record accurate inspection data and write concise reports of findings.
* Must have good interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Must have the ability to use mechanical and electrical measuring instruments (dial calipers, micrometers, multi-meters, etc.).
* Must have a basic understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies.
* Must have the ability to adapt to various job assignments with minimal direction or supervision.
* Familiarity with IPC, ASTM, and Military Standards is a plus. Job Duties/Functions
* Will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on electronic assemblies and mechanical hardware.
* Will ensure that all products are built to the latest applicable configuration documentation.
* Will identify and segregate non-conforming product and prepare Defect Reports.
* Will certify and assist in maintaining ESD stations while monitoring employee compliance.
* Will certify and assist in maintaining equipment calibration.
* Will participate as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB).
* Will assist in defect tracking and evaluation as directed by the Q.A. Manager.
* Will join cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Will perform additional duties as needed, including work in other functional areas to balance workload or cover absences.
