PURPOSE

Designs develops and maintains specific modules within an application or system using existing and emerging technology platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Writes and delivers code for features and modules debugs existing code and modules and provides technical guidance to less experienced Developers, FTEs Contractors Offshore Partner Resources.

Follows coding guidelines and practices and all technical processes and ensures they are followed by less experienced Developers.

Develops and validates estimates for technical work that will be undertaken.

On an as needed basis assigns and allocates defects to less experienced Developers.

Participates in analysis of requirements for designing new application and system features.

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience developing preferably using a mainstream Object Orientated language such as C for backend development and JavaScript, TypeScript frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular for Front-end web application development.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Required Skills:

1. Full Stack: Strong hands-on experience with developing on all types of layers, demonstrating the ability to understand the architecture and how it interacts with the user journey.
2. C: Proficiency with .NET and C by deep diving into the programing language to bring all its advantages and high efficiency to the programs.
3. Web development: Proven experience with web applications, demonstrating the ability to create responsive and dynamic user interface by using web frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.
4. Desktop development: Strong proficiency on writing code to create client desktop client application by using XAML, WPF, .NET MAUI, Avalonia or Electron
5. Backend development: Experience in coding distributed services to ensure high performance and optimized to run on Windows or Linux by using frameworks such as ASP .NET, Kestrel or similar backend frameworks.
6. Desktop deployment: Proven experience with packing, demonstrating the ability to install, uninstall and upgrade GUI applications, background services and shortcuts by using WiX (Windows Installer XML), Install Shield, rpm or deb.
7. RDMS databases: Familiarity with relational databases for building scalable and performant queries by using MySQL, Postgres or SQLite
8. Troubleshooting: Capacity to find solutions for complex problems by using profiling tools, network pack analyzer, load test by using Visual Studio Profiler, JMeter, Wireshark or similar tools.
9. Quality Assurance: Proven experience with assurance quality for product by using unit tests, test automation, static code analysis, code standards by using tools such as Robot Framework, NUnit, xUnit, Appium, SonarQube, Mend White Source.

Desired Skills:

1. Mobile development: Knowledge for developing mobile applications on Android and iOS operating systems by using .NET MAUI
2. Containers: Experience with distributed applications by packing them as container images
3. Message Queue: Solid understanding and practical experience with RabbitMQ for efficient asynchronous communication between distributed systems.
4. DevOps: Proficiency with DevOps practices such as but not limited to Source Control, Branch policies, Branch flow, CICD Pipelines, Package management by using solutions like Azure DevOps.
5. Legacy C++: Knowledge of C/C++ or C++/CLI programming languages for migrating existing code to modern C
6. Linux: Expertise with systems running on Linux virtual machines or Linux containers.
7. Pattern-Based Development: Strong knowledge and application of pattern-based development principles for creating scalable and maintainable software solutions.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.
• Professional programming certification in a mainstream programming language is a plus.
