Job Description The Operations Test Manager is a technical leadership role responsible for driving standardization, scalability, and operational excellence across manufacturing test solutions. This position serves as the technical authority for factory test architecture, ensuring all test software, test stations, equipment, and toolsets align with operational requirements, factory standards, and long-term supportability.
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations Test Support, this role provides technical leadership across Engineering and Operations, influencing test solution design from initial development through production deployment and lifecycle sustainment. The Operations Test Manager ensures new test solutions are robust, supportable, maintainable, and optimized for manufacturing efficiency.
This role plays a critical part in enabling reliable, scalable manufacturing by bridging engineering development with factory operational needs.
Technical Leadership & Standardization- Serve as the technical lead for Operations Test Support, establishing and enforcing standards across:
- Test station hardware and equipment architecture
- Test software architecture and framework compliance
- Factory toolsets and supporting utilities
- Equipment maintenance, calibration, and lifecycle management
- Drive consistency, scalability, and maintainability across all manufacturing test solutions
- Define and maintain factory test architecture standards and best practices
