Job Description:

Position Summary

MAIN DUTIES: 

  1. Lead JDE, RFGen, Power BI, RPA, and related IT services for FCG divisions in India, ensuring alignment with division objectives, corporate IT standards, and performance SLAs.

  2. Partner with functional, manufacturing, and global teams to understand business needs and translate them into IT roadmaps, project portfolios, annual budgets, and five‑year strategic plans.

  3. Design, implement, and maintain best‑practice infrastructure, security, data governance, and SOX‑compliant processes (including access controls, change management, backup/disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation).

  4. Oversee lifecycle management of key systems (JDE, Power BI, RPA, and related platforms), including enhancements, integrations, and security hardening.

  5. Govern the design, development, and support of Power BI dashboards and reports, and identify, develop, and deploy RPA use cases to drive automation and process efficiency.

  6. Support resolution of critical incidents and complex technical problems, providing logical analysis of technical queries in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  7. Interact directly with internal customers to review, understand, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows; develop written and visual requirements, process flows, and gap analyses.

  8. Analyse complex data using statistical and technical techniques/queries to support decision‑making, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  9. Guide the development and assist in the management and implementation of IT systems and services, determining division‑level versus enterprise‑level solutions in collaboration with corporate IT.

  10. Provide information and guidance to promote understanding and maximize the benefit of technology systems; communicate IT plans, priorities, risks, and decisions, managing customer expectations effectively.

  11. Recruit, develop, and retain a high‑performing IT organization; lead talent development, coaching, succession planning, and strategic workforce planning.

  12. Guide and train location and country team members in technical business skills, systems, and processes; develop training materials and deliver one‑on‑one and classroom training.

  13. Deliver concise functional specifications (functional hierarchy, workflows, business rules, interfaces, data analysis and mapping, and open issues) to stakeholders and development teams.

  14. Evaluate unplanned requests, determine appropriate priority and action, manage multiple priorities through effective organization and communication, and support cost‑optimization efforts.

  15. Promote a culture of safety, ethics, quality, and continuous improvement within the IT organization and across divisional stakeholders, staying abreast of new Digital and IT innovations and assessing their applicability for Parker India.

Responsibilities

  1. Service Delivery & OperationsAccountable for reliable, secure, and SOX‑compliant operation of JDE, Power BI, RPA, and related IT services for FCG, meeting agreed SLAs for availability, performance, and support.

  2. Business Alignment & RoadmappingEnsure IT strategies, roadmaps, and project portfolios are aligned with division, country, group, and corporate business objectives.

  3. Infrastructure, Security & ComplianceOwn implementation of best‑practice infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance processes, including access controls, change management, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation.

  4. Analytics, Automation & Process ImprovementDrive adoption of Power BI analytics and RPA automation to improve visibility, efficiency, and quality of business processes, particularly in aerospace manufacturing environments.

  5. Incident & Problem ManagementOwn the resolution of critical incidents and complex technical problems, ensuring effective root cause analysis, timely recovery, and prevention of recurrence.

  6. Requirements, Design & SpecificationsAccountable for accurate capture and documentation of business requirements, process flows, gap analyses, and functional specifications that guide solution design and delivery.

  7. Data & Decision SupportEnsure effective use of data analysis, statistical techniques, and technical queries to support business decisions, performance management, and continuous improvement.

  8. Stakeholder & Customer ManagementMaintain strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of IT decisions, impacts, priorities, and expectations.

  9. Solution Governance (Division vs. Enterprise)Define, in collaboration with corporate IT, which solutions are division‑level versus enterprise‑level and ensure consistent governance, standardization, and reuse.

  10. Training & Knowledge TransferEnsure development and delivery of effective training and documentation so that location and country teams can successfully use and support IT systems and processes.

  11. Demand, Change & Priority ManagementGovern intake, evaluation, and prioritization of planned and unplanned IT requests, balancing resources and managing multiple priorities to deliver committed outcomes.

  12. Culture, Safety & EthicsChampion Parker’s values by promoting a culture of safety, ethics, quality, and continuous improvement across the IT organization and divisional stakeholders

Qualifications

Education & Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

  2. Relevant professional certifications desirable (e.g., ITIL, PMP/Prince2, COBIT, Azure/Cloud, data/analytics, security).

     

     

    Experience

  3. Typically, 8–12 years of progressive experience in IT, including significant experience in manufacturing environments.

  4. Demonstrated experience supporting and enhancing JDE in an operational/plant context.

  5. Hands‑on experience with Power BI (data modelling, reports, dashboards) and RPA concepts/tools.

  6. Proven track record in leading IT projects and initiatives, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and change management.

  7. Experience in IT infrastructure, security, and SOX/compliance‑driven environments.

  8. Prior people‑management or team‑lead experience strongly preferred.

     

     

    Technical Skills

  9. Strong knowledge of ERP processes (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing, quality) and JDE modules relevant to manufacturing.

  10. Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and integration with operational and financial data sources.

  11. Understanding of RPA concepts, architectures, and typical use cases (tools experience is an advantage).

  12. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, endpoints), cybersecurity principles, and disaster recovery.

  13. Ability to analyse complex datasets using statistical and technical queries (SQL or similar).

  14. Familiarity with ITIL / service management practices (incident, problem, change, release).

  1. Strong ability to analyse business processes, perform gap analysis, and translate requirements into functional specifications and process flows.

  2. Capable of logical analysis of simple to complex technical queries in a manufacturing setting and driving root‑cause resolution.

  3. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities, evaluate unplanned requests, and set appropriate priorities and actions.

  4. Financial acumen to participate in budgeting, business cases, and cost/benefit analysis.
