Job Title: Aircraft Structural Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative techniques and work methods. The role involves performing assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting operations on aircraft structures, ensuring all parts meet specified requirements. You will utilize complex schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to safely execute layouts, fabrications, and installations. Coordination with supervision and inspection teams is crucial to maintain compliance with internal standards and FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures.
- Carry out varied drilling and riveting operations.
- Ensure parts and assemblies meet specified requirements.
- Use complex schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Safely perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts and equipment.
- Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with paperwork and quality specifications.
- Rivet structural assemblies and parts using various tools.
- Remove fasteners without damaging structures.
Essential Skills- 6+ years of structural experience.
- 2-4 years of experience within aerospace.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints or schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Corporate or military experience is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility with all tools provided. The role is on a second shift from 3 PM to 1:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19/hr.
