This role supports the ongoing maintenance, repair, and testing of automated drone launch and delivery receiving infrastructure used in an advanced aerospace environment. The Maintenance Technician will primarily focus on keeping ground‑based systems operational, reliable, and safe, while also supporting prototype iterations and system improvements.

You will work hands‑on with mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical components, collaborating closely with engineers and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and validate system performance. The position includes supporting both short functional checks and longer‑term reliability testing, with thorough documentation of findings and corrective actions.

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of drone launch, landing, and package receiving systems
• Service mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components according to established procedures and safety requirements
• Replace, adjust, and repair system components while updating maintenance logs and technical documentation
• Set up and support functional tests to verify system performance following repairs or design updates
• Review maintenance and test requirements to ensure work can be executed with available tools, equipment, and resources
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of fixtures, mounts, and safety structures used to support system testing and operations
• Document findings clearly and provide feedback to engineering teams to support system improvements

• Hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial, aerospace, or automated systems environment
• Experience using common shop tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Working knowledge of electrical systems across varying power levels and component sizes
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematics, mechanical drawings, and maintenance procedures
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document work clearly and accurately
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment with evolving priorities
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed

Pay Range: $31-36 DOE

Location: Esparto, CA

Schedule: This position does not have a set schedule; you will primarily work on the Day or Swing shift. Every few weeks, technicians rotate the responsibility of supporting on the Graveyard shift.
