Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- After-hours and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the repair station maintains full compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Part 145, and internal procedures.
- Maintain effective communication and cooperation with the FAA Principal Maintenance Inspector (PMI) and other applicable authorities.
- Oversee the development, execution, and continual improvement of the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM).
- Ensure sufficient resources (personnel, tools, equipment, facilities, and training) are available to support safe and compliant operations.
- Review and approve changes to maintenance policies, processes, and documentation.
- Monitor performance of the Chief Inspector, Director of Maintenance (DOM), and other key personnel to ensure proper delegation and execution of responsibilities.
- Approve and oversee training programs to ensure all personnel meet initial and recurrent training requirements.
- Support internal audits, FAA surveillance, and third-party inspections; ensure timely corrective actions are taken.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Review and approve major repairs, modifications, and contract maintenance agreements.
- Ensure that customer service, quality, and airworthiness objectives are met consistently.
