Schedule: 1st - 8am to 5pm

Power the Flow That Keeps Innovation FlyingPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Materials Associate to support warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations for one of the most respected names in the aerospace industry. In this fast-paced and hands-on role, you’ll ensure the right parts get to the right place—at the right time.
Your work will directly support mission-critical manufacturing and engineering teams, helping build and maintain systems that take flight around the world.
What You’ll DoAs a Materials Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Receive, unpack, and verify incoming materials; identify and resolve discrepancies
Perform inventory control duties including stockroom organization, cycle counting, and kitting per bill of materials (BOM)
Utilize computer systems to record inventory transactions, generate labels, and update records
Fill orders, package parts, and prepare materials for shipping per instructions
Load and unload trucks and transport materials across the facility (including use of electric golf carts)
Maintain clean and organized work areas; track and replenish packaging supplies
Identify parts by color codes, part spanings, and container labels
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, handling tools, and storing chemicals and adhesives
Support the customer service window and process material requisitions
Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing projects
Train others as needed and perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of related materials, shipping, inventory, or warehouse experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic math and computer proficiency (data entry, inventory systems, label generation)
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift
Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Must provide steel-toed shoes on start date
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with material handling in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
Familiarity with kitting processes and cycle counting
Experience handling chemicals or adhesives
Ability to identify parts using engineering drawings or desktop instructions

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
