Senior Project Engineer - Artificial Intelligence

Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Support, project management, project coordination, and asset tracking support, as well as utilizing AutoCAD for space layout and LMBuildings moves coordination. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management and Coordination:
• Coordinate and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and status reports.
• Asset Tracking and Data Entry:
• Manage and track assets, including equipment and furniture, using Maximo or other relevant systems.
• Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Office Planning and Space Management:
• Utilize AutoCAD to create and maintain space layouts, including moves and relocations.
• Coordinate with Facilities, desktop, networking, and IT teams to facilitate small and large-scale relocations of office teams.
• Primary LM Buildings Administration:
• Process and review move and MAC requests on a weekly basis, approving all seating requests.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for LM Buildings administration.
• Maximo:
• Run weekly reports to manage and verify newly opened and recently closed projects.
• Provide assistance to engineers and project managers in the project closure process.
• Ensure that all projects have correct documentation, including spending commitments and actuals.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Support and Development:
• Utilize expertise in AI technologies to support organizational objectives. Specific responsibilities include:
• Applying prompt engineering skills to optimize AI model performance and generate high-quality outputs.
• Designing and developing AI-powered assistants using the LM Genesis Platform to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Training and mentoring colleagues on the effective use of AI technologies, including best practices for prompt engineering and AI model deployment.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI adoption and develop strategies for implementation.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in project management, project coordination, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with space layout and moves coordination.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Experience with Aero’s asset tracking and data entry in Maximo.
• Strong AI analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, with a focus on project management and coordination.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martins policies and procedures, including those related to project management and asset tracking.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
