Quality Engineer (Level 2)

Description:F-35 Enterprise Sustainment Quality (ESQ)Team is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a team of highly competent quality engineering professionals to support our customers and warfighters in a fast-paced everchanging environment.
Daily responsibilities include:
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to issue, document, track, and report Quality Concern Notifications that include Product Quality Deficiency Reports, Notice of Escapes, and Product Recall Process (material survey) through the life cycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive corrective actions and process improvements
• Develop, standardize, review and manage processes to align with changing business needs
• Collaborate with various locations to adjust and update inspection management tool
• Gather, analyze, and report performance management metrics and indicators
• Investigate, contain, and perform root-cause and corrective action for non-conformances.
• Create, coordinate, and update training, and ESQ command media
• Conduct surveillance audits to validate compliance
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of quality management systems, is motivated by challenges, is passionate about standardization and has courage to lead change.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in Quality Assurance.
• Experience working with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop corrective action
plans for product & policy non-conformance.
• Familiarization with LM Sustainment operations, policies and procedures in the areas of Supplier, Parts, and control of non-conforming product.
Desired Skills:
• F-35 Flight line experience
• Technical report writing
• Comfortable presenting to leadership
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
