We’re looking for talented Manufacturing Engineers to join our client’s Composites and Assembly teams at their advanced aircraft manufacturing facility in Burnley. These exciting roles offer the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies on high-profile aerospace projects in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
About the Roles:
As a key part of either the Composites or Assembly team, you’ll help define and develop complex manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet stringent product design and quality standards. You&8217;ll be involved in everything from creating standard operating procedures and tooling strategies to validating manufacturing processes and managing industrial product validation activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and design complex manufacturing processes (composites or assembly).

Develop manufacturing systems that meet or exceed customer demand in performance and capacity.

Create and validate work instructions, quality control plans, and inspection methods.

Design effective plant, equipment, and tooling strategies.

Generate routes, bills of materials, tooling requests, layouts, and technical documentation.

Lead risk assessment and reduction activities, utilising PFMEA and similar tools.
What We&8217;re Looking For:
Composites Team Candidates:

Experience with complex composite manufacturing processes, ideally in aerospace.

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials) or HND/equivalent experience.

Skilled with CATIA v5 (3D component work).
Assembly Team Candidates:

Experience with complex assembly manufacturing processes, ideally in aerospace.

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials) or HND/equivalent experience.
