We are looking for Graduate DevSecOps Engineers to contribute to the design, development and implementation of software factory platforms that enable teams to delivery software securely.

The Graduate DevSecOps Engineer can look forward to the following essential elements in this exciting role:

• Delivery capabilities to advanced software factory platforms.
• Gain experience in integrating tools and services to deliver higher order services requires for software development.
• Gain experience in Cloud based technologies
• Gain experience in secure software development methodologies.
• Contribute to products.

• Ability to research, assimilate large body of documentation, distil to essentials to solve tactical problems is essential.

• Understand fundamentals of coding practices, how to write readable, secure code is essential.
• Ability to handle make strong judgements under tight deadlines is essential.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or related technologies is essential.
• Less than 2 years’ experience in software design, development, and testing is essential.
• Experience in integrating tools to create a composite capability is highly desirable.
• Experience in Kubernetes, Cloud technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of working with Agile frameworks/practices (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Paired Programming) is desirable.
• Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline (this includes version control, quality, deployment, test automation tools, etc.) is desirable.
• Experience working on a Linux platform is desirable.
• Experience developing design models using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) and selecting and applying design patterns to software development is desirable.
• Experience developing in a mainstream Object Orientated language (e.g. C++, C, Objective C, Java) or Rust is essential.
• Experience developing unit tests, end to end tests, Test Driven Development (TDD) along with static analysis of code, and code coverage analytical tools is desirable.
• Experience with source code repositories / management (Git, GitLab) and the concepts associated with (including branching) is desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills essential.
• Work Experience in a Defence related industry is desirable.
