C4I Field Service Engineer (Tactical Radio)

Job Description
The selected applicant will provide systems administration functions and technical support for various Radio and Satellite systems that are integrated into data communications within network transit cases and vehicles supporting the Department of Defense (DOD).

Responsibilities will include supporting the end day soldiers and various customers over the phone and onsite with issues related to radio and satellite systems performance issues; installing system wide software and hardware and configuring for optimal performance; and gathering and analyzing logs and maintaining system configuration documentation for multiple systems.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Marys County Technology Corridor adjacent to Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Marys County Maryland or surrounding areas.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and at least 6 years related experience

Comprehensive knowledge of:
Motorola APX 8500 and APX 8000XE radios
Harris Tactical Radios: HF PRC-160, PRC-152
MPU5 Radios
9575A Iridium Satellite Phones
Codan Repeater Systems
Kymeta Satellite Systems
Starlink Satellite Systems
TOCNET Systems (Tactical Operations Center Inter-Communication System)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $69190 - $117590

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
