Reports to: Testing Lead – Functional      

The Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) works round the clock to support our flight crew and ground employees in unexpected situations. We are the first point of contact in an emergency, and we help Flight Operations exercise operational control. The mission of IOC is to balance priorities of all the frontline operational sections, maintain schedule regularity and act in a safe, legal and cost-effective manner to recover the schedule after disruption. 

As the Testing Analyst, you are responsible for providing testing services to meet Crew Control Systems (CCS) project requirements. In addition to leading the execution of daily functional testing activities, you will also be responsible for implementing, maintaining and enforcing processes and standards in support of the CPA Functional Testing Quality Assurance framework. 

 The Testing Analyst is required to have strong skillset in Quality Assurance (QA) and established vendor management skills to ensure deliverables are of high quality and compliant to CPA policies and standards. You will also be responsible for management of the Quality Control (QC) process within projects to ensure the deliverables of all parties meeting with CPA quality.  

• Lead the execution of the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
• Drive cross-functional workshops to define test scope, coverage, end-to-end business processes, and acceptance criteria across multiple stakeholders. 
• Analyse the project documentation, including business process, business requirements and understand the product functionality to document the test scenarios and test cases 
• Proactively identify edge cases, blind spots, and failure scenarios to ensure robust, business-ready solutions that meet regulatory and operational standards. 
• Deliver required test documentation, including plans, estimates, schedules and reports within project timelines. 
• Work closely with product manager, subject matter experts, vendor teams to understand requirements and provide feedback. 
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency. 
• Execute and manage test cases; communicate test results and findings to stakeholders 
• Mentor and coach junior test analysts, helping to build team capabilities and encourage knowledge sharing. 
• Drive to identify and manage project-level risks and escalate issues associated with/during testing.

• A minimum of 5 years of IT and Testing experience in large scale system implementation projects, with experience in automated testing preferred. 
• Good business domain and industry knowledge; Airline/Crew Operations experience would be preferred. 
• Ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in written formats to multiple project stakeholders. 
• Effective skills in managing corporate project testing engagements; Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal communications (assertiveness, consensus building, negotiation). 
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas. 
• Focus on the end user’s or customer’s needs; ability to set expectations and understand end user behavior. 
• Good understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of using different testing technique, like static, specification-based, structured-based, experience-based techniques; Good understanding of the potential benefits and problems of applying different test types, e.g. regression test, usability test, stress test etc. 
• Proven experience in testing of complex inter-related applications across multiple platforms and infrastructure. 
• Tertiary qualifications are essential. Certification of ISTQB / PMP / CISA / ITIL is an advantage. 
• Demonstrated track record in driving process improvements and implementing testing governance frameworks.
