• Youll be a part of American’s Global Engagement team, which includes the airline’s Corporate Communications function. In this role, the right candidate will be responsible for supporting communications that help drive revenue and move the business forward.
• As a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment juggling many tasks, you’ll have a variety of responsibilities that help American to create a world-class customer experience and make culture a competitive advantage.

• Develop an understanding of American’s operations and business practices and the broader airline industry.
• Support the Corporate Communications team in developing and delivering complex messages in a clear and concise way for team members and external audiences.
• Work to educate media on American, keeping all key stakeholders informed and updated along the way.
• Develop compelling communications plans and business education campaigns to help American’s stakeholders understand important business decisions.
• Provide support and content for other company channels as needed.

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications or relevant field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in communications or media relations
