You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the PP&C Team. PP&C is responsible for driving inventory optimization, minimizing costs, supporting Manufacturing Operations, and ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer requirements.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Planner for Production Planning & Control (PP&C), this role will support the Production Operations organization. Your responsibilities will include:
• Cross-functional communication and coordination with various functions including Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Managing production schedules and material shortages
• Analyzing data to inform production planning decisions

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Past experience in any of three areas, Make/Buy/BOM Planning, or equivalent or experience in one area with an understanding of the other two.

Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs; including SAP, Microsoft office, and Apriso.

Very good organization and communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing.

Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance after accepting an offer and before starting the role.
Desired Skills:
Ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas of responsibility.

Previous working experience with engineering drawings and parts lists.

ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
